Linda L. May

Linda Lucille May was born June 22,1948 in St. Joseph, MO to Warren H. and Dorothy E. Chambers.
Linda attended Bartlett elementary and Central High School, graduating in 1966.

She worked for Western Missouri Mental Health as a Psychiatric Technician for well over 20 years.
Linda was a member at Davis Temple No.2 Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop Carl and Lady Dorothy Grayson for many years. Later in life she changed her membership to Victorious Life Church, under the leadership of the Honorable Bishop Mark C. Tolbert and executive Pastor C.D. Collier where she was a member until the end of her life.

Linda met and married Melvin L. May in 1968. They were blessed with 2 children, Erica and Scott. Ms. Linda enjoyed cooking and sharing that passion with family and friends.
Linda departed this life on March 11, 2024. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her spouse.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory: 1 brother, Eric S Chambers; both children, Erica May Parker (Richard) and Melvin Scott May; all of the home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024, visitation will be held from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M. with services beginning at 10 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
