Manuel Sparks

Manuel was born June 22, 1943 in Steele, Missouri to John and Ethel Sparks. 

Manuel was educated in the public schools Hayti Missouri and attended Central School.

Manuel was a loving, husband, father, brother and uncle. He was a member of Hope of Glory Ministries.

Manuel worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 25 years. He briefly worked at the   Kansas City Royals Stadium and also did auto detailing. Manuel went on to get his certification in Auto Body and Fender Repair at Sullivan's Vocational Technical School. After he received his certification, he went on to open up a shop on 75th and Prospect in the Kansas City Missouri area.

Manual liked to go fishing and hunting 

Manuel met and married Sharon Clark they were United in marriage on June 20th 1981

Manual departed this life on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Samuel Sparks, and John Sparks; one sister, Johnnie Mae Breckenridge; one uncle, and his grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sharon Sparks; three daughters, Tiffany Sparks, Tasha Sparks, and Marilyn Blanks (Bobby); five sons, Joe Clark, Johnny Clark, Lamon Glasgow, Keith Sparks and Kevin Sparks ( Katherine); one brother, Robert Sparks ( Regina); 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grand children; two best friends, Wilburn Ponds and Bishop Billy Buckley, and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2023 at Hope of Glory Church located at 11501 Bannister Rd., KCMO 64134

Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M.

Services will begin at 11 A.M.
