Maria Luisa Moreira Vallejo

Maria Louisa Moreira Vallejos, 97, of Independence, Missouri. She was born in Honduras on  December 25, 1925 to Victoria Isabel Moreira Vallejo and Miguel Angel Moreira Urutia.  She went to meet our Heavenly Father, on Friday, May 5, 2023, at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had three siblings growing up. Maria lived a quiet life with her daughters. She enjoyed spending time with her family, being in nature, watching the neighborhood children, and swinging in the park.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Martha, and granddaughter, Michelle.

She is survived by her son, Miguel (Beth Moreira); daughters, Maria (Joseph DeBarthe), Hilda (David Morrow), and Blanca (Robert Carter); brother, Plutarco; sisters, Carmela and Ermisenda; and a great legacy of eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023 at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th st., Kansas City, Mo 64127

Visitation will be held from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M.

Services will begin at 10 A.M.

Internment: Mount Washington Cemetery
