Marilyn Louise Annis

Marilyn Louise Annis was born January 15, 1942, in Kansas City, MO to Mildred and John Getz.

Marilyn graduated from Warsaw High School. She had a career in sales and found her calling as a real estate agent, like her mother. She served her community as a realtor for almost thirty years.

Marilyn married Charles Annis June 1, 1968, and stayed by his side to his death in 2019. Her great love was her son, John Bradley Annis. Sadly, she lost Brad in his youth.

Marilyn enjoyed numerous sports, travel, and most of all, time with her family. She was a regular attendee to her family’s sports events, hosted annual Christmas parties at her home for over forty years, and was always there for anyone in need. She is known for her love, kindness, generosity, and warmth.

Marilyn departed this life December 2nd, 2024. She was preceded in her death by her husband, Charles; her son, Brad; her mother and father; her siblings, Jack, Charles, Virginia, Ira James, Alice; her great-nephew, Bailey Christopher Jelinek; and her niece, Debra Hopkins.

She is survived by her brother, William Getz; sister, Janette (Getz) Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her family is grateful to the NorthCare Hospice House for their compassionate care of Marilyn and would ask in lieu of flowers to make a donation to the Hospice House.
