Martin Thomas Hall was born on October 16, 1943 in Cedartown, Ga.He peacefully slipped into eternity on July 17, 2024 in Grandview, Mo.His hard-working and Godly parents Willie and Ida (Tanner) Hall, taught Martin the importance of good work ethics and how to be a Man of God.As a Navy Veteran, he was able to use the skills he learned in the military to be a successful retail store manager and worked for several different department stores in a store or district management position.His Christian witness was important to him. Not only did he teach his children to love the Lord, he taught in AWANA and Vacation Bible school until his illness prevented him from doing so. He impacted hundreds of young lives with his example of how to live his beliefs.Martin was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, James, and sisters Joann Hall, Linda Bruner and Carolyn Waddell.Also preceding him was Paulette Webb-Hall, the mother of his surviving children, Michael Hall (wife Melanie) of Suffolk, Va, James Hall (wife Beth) of Ozawkie, Ks and Deborah Hall of Niangua, Mo.He is also survived by his devoted wife, Rena (Leeth) Hall and children April Holmes (husband Jeff) of Odessa, Mo and Joshua Teel. (Stepson Jason Teel and grandson Mason Teel also preceded him in death.)He leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well.

A-LIFE-WELL-LIVED CELEBRATION is planned for August 17, 2024, from 3 to 5:30 PM at Red Bridge Baptist Church in South Kansas City, Mo.In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to give a generous donation to American Alzheimers Association, Sarah Cannon Cancer Research, Haiti Home of Hope (through Red Bridge Baptist Curch)or Red Bridge Baptist Chuch.
