Mitchell Shane Boyd

Mitchell Shane Boyd was born on March 11, 1958 in San Angelo, Texas to Faye and Dean Boyd. 

He married Bonnie Blanq making her Bonnie Boyd in 1990 and they had two children, Kassandra in 1992 and Samuel in 2000. He was a loving and hardworking father and he raised two, kind, successful children. Shane and Bonnie spent 35 wonderful, joy filled years together until his passing. 

Shane worked hard all of his life and became a master leather craftsman and custom boot maker. Being in his workshop hand crafting things with leather was his passion and his happy place. He loved to be active and do things with his hands and when he wasn't doing that he loved to make people laugh. He brought joy and laughter to anyone and everyone that was lucky enough to know him. 

Shane died on January 24th, very unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep. Leaving behind a family who will miss him dearly and never laugh the same without him. He leaves behind his wife Bonnie, his daughter Kassandra and son-in-law Joe, his son Samuel and daughter-in-law Marci, and his six grandchildren who he loved so deeply, Paisley, Paxton, Harrison, Lawson, Waylon and Kolton. He also leaves behind his two older siblings who loved him dearly, a sister Karen and Brother Robin.
