Mrs. Christina Marie Faison

Mrs. Christina Marie Faison, 74, aka "Chicken" was born January 24, 1948, to the union of James H. Orgain and Ora B. Miller. Both parents and three siblings ( two brothers, James H. Orgain Jr. & Tommy Orgain and on sister, Anna " Shay" Matthews) proceeded her in death.

 Christina was born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico where she attended and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1967. She played softball and was great at it too. She then resided to Kansas City, Missouri in 1967 amd attended IBM Technical Institude. She then married the love of her life, Willie W. Faison Sr., and the rest was history, out of this union she birthed three beautiful children. Christina had a strong, solid work ethic; she worked as a Billing and Coding Specialist giving Childrens Mercy Hospital 37 years of her life until she retired.

Christina will always be remembered as a sweet personality type but can get spicy. She deeply loved her family.  She was kind. She was avid chartiable unconditional giver, giving to organizations such as Harvesters, St. Jude, Rose Brooks and many more.  She wore her heart on her sleeve.

Christina leaves to cherish the memory of one daughter, Tanya T. Faison and two sons Billy J. Faison and Willie W. Faison Jr.; three grandchildren Tatum, Michael and Rico.; one great grandchild Ta'Moni.; three sisters Ella, Lilly and Kathy, one sister/cousin , Irene Runnels and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Mrs. Christina Marie Faison departed this life on November 19, 2022, in Kansas City, Missouri.
