Norma Nichols (White)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Nichols on February 13, 2025, at the age of 88. Norma will be deeply missed by her beloved family, which includes two loving sisters, three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. For the past five years, Norma resided at Shawnee Gardens Healthcare and Rehab Center, where she brightened the days of everyone around her with her infectious smile and positive spirit. The dedicated staff at Shawnee Gardens grew to adore Norma, often becoming not just caregivers but treasured friends. Their love and care did not go unnoticed, and her family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the support and compassion provided by all the team members.

Throughout her life, Norma faced many challenges with unwavering strength. Family was everything to Norma, and she cultivated deep connections with her loved ones, imparting wisdom and love throughout her life’s journey.

Norma's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. In honor of her memory, we encourage everyone to remember her not just for the challenges she faced but for the love and joy she freely shared.

Norma will be forever missed but never forgotten.

A graveside service will be held in her honor in the Spring of 2025 at Block 24, Maple Hill Cemetery. We invite family and friends to gather in honoring Norma, to celebrate her life, an announcement with specific details will be forthcoming.
