Paula Rashell Barr

Paula R. Barr, 56, was born April 10, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roberta Barr.

Paula was educated in Kansas City, Missouri. She attended Northeast Highschool up to her senior year. Paula worked as a Caretaker and Home Health Nurse at various nursing homes and agencies. Paula loved taking care of the elderly and they loved her, the energy she brought, as well as her compassionate attitude. She treated them as family

Paula accepted Christ at an early age. She frequented her neighborhood churches. Besides being proud of her children, she was proud of her growing family and becoming a great grandmother. Paula was a beautiful soul and life of the party. She loved gambling, playing cards, 2-stepping, and hanging out with family and friends. Paula will truly be missed.

Paula departed this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. She was  preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ellis Barr Sr and Fredia Barr; uncles, Ellis Barr Jr, Ezra Barr and Edward J. Barr; cousins, Constance Barr, Allen Barr and Jamonte Conway; nephew, Dontez Spearman; and granddaughters, DaMya Williams and Taylor Nicole.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Danita Barr, Dalana Barr, Dennis Williams Jr., and Da'Quita Barr;     mother, Roberta Barr; honorary father, Jasea Irven Jr.; brothers, Reginald (Tonja) Barr, Charles Spearman Jr., and Vincent Spearman; grandchildren, De'Shawn Barr, Derion, Barr, Natalia Bradley, D'Javion Barr, Antoine Ashby, Damari Ashby, Jordan Barr, Jayden Barr, Dennis Williams III, Jairen Riley, Tyler Taylor, ZaMya Barr, Katelyn Hatch, De'Angelo Barr, Da'Kyah Williams, Princeton Barr, DaKari Williams, Lakaedra Watson, Jules Knolley, and Juelz Knolley; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
