Phil L. Ostronic

Phil L Ostronic also known as “Phylgood”, 48 of Lawrence, Kansas passed away on June 2, 2024 at KU Medical Center In Kansas City, Kansas.

Phil was born on September 5, 1975 to Joseph F. Ostronic III and Margaret M. (Eldridge) Ostronic in Great Lakes, Illinois. Phil graduated from Lawrence High School in 1993. Before graduating he was working at Molly McGee’s and this led him to many other restaurant jobs in Lawerence. Most of his career was at Free State Brewing Company where he had multiple positions. Phil’s last employer was Set Up Jack’s. Phil enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and always liked meeting new people. His favorite holiday was St. Patrick’s Day where he would always dress like a leprechaun and jump float to float in the Lawrence parade. He married Jennifer Evens on November 28, 2002 in Lawrence, Kansas. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his daughter Ceili; two brothers, Paul “P.J.” Ostronic, Lawrence, Bill (Blaine) Ostronic, Eudora. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry Joe Ostronic and Nephew Caleb “Trey” Ostronic.

The Celebration of Life gathering will be June 14, from 3:00-6:00 at Union Pacific Depot, 402 N. 2nd Street, Lawrence, Kansas, 66044. This will be a casual dress stop in at any time event.
