Phillip Edward Diamond Sr.

Phillip Edward Diamond Sr. was born on July 30, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri to Sam Edward Diamond Jr. and Doris Jean Diamond-Bridgewater. Phil Sr. was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri School District and was a graduate of Paseo High School, class of 1974. After graduation, Phil Sr. served in the United States Navy for two years then returned to his job with the Jackson County Juvenile Courts system. He then switched careers and worked various jobs as an Individual Career Plan Manager with Urban Rangers Corp and became a Certified Personal Care Assistant.

Phil Sr. enjoyed playing the guitar, reading, and writing. Phil Sr. departed this life on July 22, 2024, at home. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother, Rick Diamond.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Phillip E. Diamond Jr. (Monesha), Gerron K. Diamond Sr. (Brittany), and Hope E. Diamond; sister, Marie E. Williams; brothers, Milton Diamond-Williams and Stephen E. Diamond Sr; grandchildren, Phillip E. Diamond III, Gerron K. Diamond Jr., Landon Diamond, and Brayden Z. Diamond; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday August 8, 2024 at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 E 18th St. KCMO 64127.
