Heaven Couldn't Wait For Me!
Rah՛nae passed peacefully from this life the morning of Saturday, March 5, 2022, after a gradual decline in her health. She was surrounded by her loving family and close friends during her transition.
Rah՛nae Bonnie Lue Clay was born to her proud parents, Darlene Handson and Durahn Clay in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was a very outgoing, courageous, dancing machine. Rah՛nae was a fourth-grade student at Eastwood Hill Elementary. She was loved by all that encountered her. She left an indelible impression upon every one that she met, and a smile to last a lifetime. She will be forever loved and greatly missed.
Rah՛nae was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Joyce Marie Handson, and Charlene Gunnels; grand-father, Robert Greer; and big brother, William Gunnels.
Rah՛nae leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Darlene Handson (Jeff); fathers, Durahn Clay and Clinton Gunnels Sr.; siblings, Draqya, Diamond, Jurnee, Draquera, Rahnice, Monique, Clinton Jr., Deonte, Marquise, Montorion, Demetrius, Latrell, Jordan Gunnels, Davon, Marco Raheem Brown, and Zaire Reed; aunts, Lisa “Lou” Handson, and Amber Purvey; uncles, Mario Powell, John Hicks, and Christopher Handson; grandmother, Gail Ann Clay; grandfather, Dell Johnson; special cousins, Dorothy, Shantell, and Dana; special friends, Kales, Ja’Nyiejah, Chyna, and Kassidy; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and close family members.
