Regina Gunther (Ryberg)

Regina "Gina" Gunther, 67, of Liberty, MO, was born in Harrisonville, MO, on May 4, 1957, to Martha and John Ryberg. She passed peacefully at home on February 27, 2025.

Regina was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She was a devoted Christian, leaning into God's goodness all her days. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—watching Hallmark movies, exploring National Parks, and appreciating nature’s beauty.

Regina dedicated many years to General Motors, where she shared countless laughs and was a proud member of UAW. Above all else, she cherished being a mother.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Sophia Gunther, her sister, Carla (Daniel) Radke, and her brother, Karl (Marianne) Ryberg, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Billy Gunther, her mother, Martha Ryberg, and her father, John Ryberg.

Thank you for the laughter and love you shared with all who knew you, Regina.We rejoice in the promise of eternal life—you are deeply missed but forever remembered.
