Robert "Bobby" Thomas Roark

Robert “Bobby” Thomas Roark was born January 9, 1978 in Kansas City, Missouri to Candis Roark and
James Johnson. Robert received his educated from Mingo Job Corp. Robert worked as a truck driver with many
companies for most of his adult life. He pursued his dream of becoming a train locomotive engineer, he
got his locomotive engineer license right before he was diagnosis.

Robert and Deana met on April 21, 2011 and married April 19, 2014. Robert had no biological children but was a wonderful step-father to Deana’s two children Danielle Bland and Terri Long. Robert enjoyed life in general, he loved golfing,
fishing, going to the gun range. Robert’s favorite pastime was cooking on his smoker, listening to his
music, watching cartoons and Cops.

Robert departed this life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 3:50 p.m. He was 45 years old. His maternal
grandparents, Emma Jean and Cleophus; two brothers, Nathan and Clayton Johnson; and uncle,
Michael Roark all preceded him in death.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Deana Roark; parents, Candis Roark & James Johnson;
sisters, Tira Lashawn, Adrian Roark-Metcalf, Chavon, (Tea, & William Garza) (Will), Janelle Roark, Denise Roark, Candis Roark III (Marc), Vincent, Clarese, Jeanene, Della, the 3 that he fought so hard for Bella Walker, RJ Jackson, and Lillyana
Salas; and a host of many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Robert touched many families and friends in this
world. We all love and will miss you dearly!!!!!!!!!!!

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday September 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st. KCMO 64127.
