Roger was one of a kind. He always said “You are either here to make history or here to have fun”. He definitely lived up to the fun part of his statement. He loved his family and his friends, both two and four- legged ones. If you knew Roger you know he was never at a loss for words – he had an opinion on every subject and was always happy to share that opinion. It was always easy for him to strike up a conversation with people and make new friends.
Roger had his 80 th birthday in September before he passed away in October. Another saying of his was “if I died tomorrow, I have lived a full life”. Through the years he had several interests, especially Motorcycles & Boats & Guns & Looking at houses. He lived his life to the fullest. He will be missed.
Roger is survived by his wife Beth and daughter Marlo. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Juanita L. Owens and Father, Willis Owens, and several aunts and uncles.
