Ronald Eugene Johnson

Ronald Eugene Johnson was born to James and Shirley Johnson Jr., on September 25, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas. Both parents preceded him in death. He was the fourth of six children born to this union. Ronald received his education in the Kansas City Public School District. He was an avid reader of books, newspapers and magazines.

Ronald accepted Christ at an early age, where he attended Centennial United Methodist Church. He worked in the restaurant business and performed maintenance duties for Bonnie's Place for many years. Uncle Ronald was also the babysitter for the family. He had a special bond and love for all his nieces, nephews and all children. They all loved him dearly.

Ronald had a sweet spirit and loved to have a good time. He was loved by all and will truly be missed by his family and friends.

He departed this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: Uncle, Rev. Charles Johnson (Eileen), St. Joseph, MO. Aunt, Alice Faye Vege, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Brothers: Rev. Bobby Johnson Sr. (Jackie), Louisville, Kentucky, Reginald Johnson, and Donald Johnson, (Evette), Kansas City, MO. Sisters: Pamela Johnson, Veretha Talley and Diana Hawkins, Kansas City, MO. Nieces: Bridgette, Felicia, Shauntee, Alicia, D'Eisha and Ea'Precious. Nephews: Phillip, DeAngelo and Larry. Also a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews in Alabama, Kansas City, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024,11:00 am. Family visitation 10:00 am. - 11:00am. The Historic Centennial United Methodist Church, 1834 Woodland, Kansas City, MO. 64108. Pastor Danielle Quinn Officiating.
