Ronald Carlton Roberson

Mr. Ronald Roberson, Sr. was born in Marshall, TX, to the parents of Samuel and Electra B. Johnson Robertson. Ronald received his
education through the Marshall, TX school system. He accepted Christ into his heart early at the Shady Grove CME Church. He later
relocated to Kansas City, Missouri in 1960. Uncle “Roonie,” affectionally known by his nephews and nieces, enjoyed his family.
Ronald worked 30 years for The Kansas City Sanitation Department as a Forklift Worker, where he retired. Ronald enjoyed fishing,
hunting, watching sports, and telling jokes.

He departed this life on Monday, August 21, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri with family members at his
bedside. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Electra Beatrice Roberson, Goldie Chapman; four sons, Charles
Chapman, Kenneth Chapman, Harold Chapman, Kelly Pete Palmer and a daughter, Rhonda Chapman; five brothers, McKinley
Robertson, Joe Robertson, Carl Rudolph Robertson, Elmer Robertson, Sr., and John S. Roberson, Sr. and two sisters, Sammie
Jean Bell of MD and Doris Washington of Marshall, TX.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Elizabeth Robinson, Velma L. Chapman, and Rachel L. Williams. Five sons,
Ronald Chapman, Johnny Chapman, Michael Chapman, James Chapman, and Joseph A. Roberson of Minnesota Sr., one sister,   Mrs. Bobbie J. Jones of Marshall, TX., and a host of other nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at Rivers Edge Fellowship located at 5010 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City, Missouri 64133. Viewing will be held fom 10am-11am with services beginning at 11 A.M.
