Rudeana L. Millbrooks

Rudeana Millbrooks was born December 10, 1956  in Kansas City, Missouri to her mother, Shirley Downey, and father, Rudolph Downey.

She graduated from De La Salle High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Data Processing from National Education Center. She worked in the IT field at the Kansas City Courthouse and for the Kansas City Police Department before changing careers and deciding to dedicate her life to helping others by working as a home healthcare aid for Care Givers Incorporated.

She was blessed with four children who were her world. She loved spending time with her grandkids who brought her so much joy and she also enjoyed helping others and would open and offer her home to anyone in need.

Rudeana departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2022, five days before her sixty-sixth birthday. Her parents, Shirley and Rudolph Downey, and two brothers, David Downey, and Rudolph Downey, all preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to cherish in her memory her  children, Damon Richardson Sr., Tracy Williams, Robert Hardiman Jr., and Dion Hardiman; siblings, brother, Micael Fitchett, and sisters, Renita Downey, Sharon Wallace, and Susan McMath, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who adored her dearly.
