Samuel Keith Roach

Samuel Keith Roach, born June 22, 1948 Monroe, Louisiana to Herman Graham and Gussie Roach.

Samuel, better known as “Sam”, “Pete”, or “Sammie Keith”, received his education at Hutting Elementary and Garner High School. He accepted Christ at an early age. He worked at McGrew Color Graphics for Several years. He also worked for the Goodwill of Kansas City.

Sam loved baseball since he was a young man. He loved umpiring games in his home town of Hutting. He truly loved sports and was a true fan. Sam attended many games, even after moving to Kansas City over fifty years ago. He especially loved at-tending the Royals and Chiefs games.

He is preceded in death by his mother Gussie O. Roach; Maternal grandparents, John Roach and Willie Roach; Two uncles, John Roach Jr. and Albert Stockman; Three aunts, Margurite Stockman, Willie M. Roach, and Rita M. Stockman.

He is survived by a very special aunt, Lenora Roach (Hutting AR.) Sister, Linda K. Roach; brothers, Desi Roach (Patsy) of Hutting AR; two nieces, Ophelia Roach, Destini Harris-Roach; one nephew Reginald K. Roach; one great niece, Nevaeh Henderson; two great nephews, Reginal Roach Jr, Jayceon Robinson, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 10, 2024, visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Community Fellowship of Jesus Christ 3838 Emmanuel Cleaver Blvd. Kansas City, Mo 64128.

Internment: XII Gates Cemetery.
