Sheryl Denise Torres (Taylor) was born to Mary Frances Taylor on January 10, 1961, in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area and a graduate of Central High School. Sheryl grew up with various family members and enjoyed her time with different parts of her family.
After high school, Sheryl found a lifelong career in phlebotomy, where she met new people and made new friends daily. Sheryl worked at various hospitals throughout the Kansas City area, such as Truman Medical Center and Belton Regional Medical Center.
Sheryl enjoyed having fun. She became well-known for her impromptu dancing and singing! She enjoyed activities such as line dancing, performing karaoke songs, watching her favorite TV shows, and spending time with family and friends.
Sheryl passed away on October 9, 2023, in her home surrounded by family. Sheryl is survived by her husband, Miguel Torres; her children, Lance Taylor, Turquoise Templeton, Trynnel Templeton, Frances Taylor, and Micaela Torres; and her siblings, Kathy Taylor and Edsyl Taylor. Sheryl also leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
