Sylvester J. Callier was born March 13, 1938 in Harrisonville, MO. To Ms. Thelma P. Allen and Mr. Sylvester Callier.
He was educated in Bonner Springs, He graduated from Harrisonville High School. Sylvester worked for the U.S. Post Office, Certainteed KC, And Truman Medical Center. He was an accomplished fork lifter. Sylvester loved to sing at clubs and in the studio.
Sylvester met and married Ms. Lucy Redmon, the married was later dissolved. Sylvester was lucky to find love once more when he met and married Ms. Lucille Callier. Sylvester was blessed with ten children.
Sylvester lived life to the fullest! He enjoyed going to the clubs, watching the Chiefs, driving fancy cars, go fishing, listen to the blues, and sing; Billy Eckstine was his idol.
Sylvester departed this life on September 11, 2023. His parents, Gary Callier, James Callier, and Janet Callier- Robinson precede him in death.
Sylvester leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Lucille Callier, Children; Phillip, Sylvester, Marlon, Jesse, Derek, Monte Johnson, Cynthia, LuCinda, and Tresea Callier, 30 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, Special Aunts; Bebe Brown, Ida Hyche, Linda Black, and Claira Moore, and a host of family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
