Steve A Demkovich

Steve Anthony Demkovich, 70, born July 19,1953, in Berwyn, IL.  Steve peacefully left this world, August 26, 2023 in Kansas City, KS. Steve is survived by his significant other, Annie Johnson and his four daughters, Jennifer Demkovich, Terra Demkovich - Ringler (John), Joy White, Leslie Bojanich (Mark) and his sister, Toni Ray Demkovich.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Demkovich and mother, Rafelina Maretta-Demkovich.

Steve graduated from Glenbard East High School in 1971. He attended the College of DuPage (Illinois) and joined the US Marine Corp in 1971. Steve loved his country and had not only served in the Marine Corp, he also served in the US Army Reserves, and US Navy Reserves. Steve was honorably discharged from Active Duty in 1982 and honorably discharged from the US Navy Reserves in 1984.

Steve had a passion for the plastics industry and had worked at several plastics manufacturing companies. Most recent companies were Wise Hamlin Plastics, APM/Nexpax and NYPRO. He ended his plastics career and decided to live life on the road where he drove semi across the country for Royal Way Trucking.

A private ceremony will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
