Susie Mae McGee (Townsell)

Susie McGee was born in Jonestown Mississippi to the union of Josie and James Townsell. Susie was the fifth born of eleven children.

Susie was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri Public school and Kansas City education program. Susie worked in the laundry business for over forty years. She was employed at Thriftway cleaners, Stanford Saper cleaners and Plaza ford Ideal cleaners.

Susie accepted Christ at an early age. Susie was a member of Shalom Missionary Baptist Church for over twenty plus years.

Susie was married to Emmett McGee, blessed with three children John G. Liner, Melinda Aguilera, and Jacqulyn Taylor. Susie enjoyed reading, bingo, and spending time with her family.

Susie departed this life to be with the Lord on November 14, 2024 comfortably in her home with family. Susie’s nine siblings, and four grandchildren precedes her in death.

Susie leaves to cherish her memory to her children, John G. Liner, Melinda Aguilera, Jacqulyn Taylor (Orlando Taylor Sr.); Brother Edward Richards (Olivia Richards); Six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, A very special Son/ great grandson that she loves with all of her heart, Carlos Liner; Special Cousin Teddy, and A host of other family, church family, friends and relatives.
