Tenyshia R. Jackson

Tenyshia attended Metro Tech High School and later went on to receive her Culinary Arts Degree.   She later became a cook at Clara Manor Nursing home and then moved on to Summit Nursing Home.  With over 20 years of experience in Culinary Arts, it was evident that she loved cooking and that was her way of taking care of people.

Tenyshia, known as “Ty” or “Big Mama”, was a wife, mother and was known as a great friend to many people.   She had a heart of gold and loved everyone, especially children. The love for her daughter and son was undeniable; it was the greatest love.  She loved to see her nieces, nephews, and other children she helped raise grow and succeed.  Ty will forever be missed and loved.

Niece:  Ka’Nisha Jackson and host of other great nieces , and a host of other family and friend’s. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday  December 7, 2023, visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M.  with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st. KCMO 64127.

Interment : Brooking Cemetery
