Thomas Davie Jr.

Thomas Davie Jr. (65) passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded
by his loving family and friends. Born May 17th, 1958, to Zelma Jean and Thomas Porter, Thomas lived his young life in Kansas City, MO with his siblings Versa, Ronald, Donald, Rowena, and Gymon.

Forever proud of his children, claiming them as “one of his greatest accomplishments.”
Thomas was a fun-spirited soul who took on many passions and he lived life to the fullest, he was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of his life experiences. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them - and if you knew him, you knew it.
When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, and strength, and was full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.

Thomas was predeceded in death by his Father and Mother, His siblings Donald Davie & Gymon Davie, and His Grandson Kameron Gay.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory is his loving wife Dwana Davie, his siblings Versa Porter, Ronald Davie, and Rowena Washington, his life brother Nathaniel Townes, his children Thomas L. Davie Jr., Edward T. Duncan, Sheneka (Candice) Parker, and Maurice (Angie) Gay. He also had 13 Grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wedenesday April 3, 2024, visitation will be held from 2 P.M. - 3 P.M. with services beginning at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th St. Kansas City, Missouri 64127.
