Thomas Leon Miller Jr. “Button” the fourth child born to Thomas L. Miller Sr. and Alice Miller, March 11, 1966, in Kansas City, KS.
Thomas was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents, his father, Thomas L. Miller Sr., and his lifelong friend/brother of 50 years, Carl Nixon.
Thomas was educated in the Kansas City, MO school district, graduating from Van Horn High School class of ‘84. After high school he enlisted in the US Marine Corp., serving from 1984 - 1988. He was honorably discharged.
Thomas was employed at Lipton for 10+ years. He was employed at Hiland Dairy for 15 years until he departed this life.
Thomas was baptized at Central Christian Church at an early age.
Thomas was outgoing and he always saw the good in a person. He had a love for Las Vegas trips with his family. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was known for always dressing to impress which included everything from his clothes to his jewelry. He enjoyed playing the lottery, Tonk (card game), and hanging out with his family and friends.
Thomas departed this life Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Saint Lukes’s hospital surrounded by his loved ones.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memory his Mother, Alice Miller of KCMO; his children Terrance Abercrombie (Candance) of KCMO; Ashley Givens of VA; Tyler Jones (Harmony) of KCMO; Tiolo Miller of KCMO; his sisters Antonia Miller, Sharon Miller-Roe (Dana), Karen Miller all of KCMO; Delisa Regan (Marcus) of TX, and Michelle Miller (Moses) of KCMO, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, a special friend Erica Lucas, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 3, 2024, visitation will be from 11 A.M. - 12 P.M. with services beginning at 12 Noon. at Second Baptist Church 116 White Oak St. Independence, Mo 64050
