Thomas E. Patterson

Thomas E. Patterson, Jr "Tj" of Grandview MO passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 26, 2024 at Belton Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born on August 9, 1978 in Butler, MO to Thomas, Sr and Mary Patterson and was the youngest of 4 children. At the time of his death he worked for Kurzweil's Country Meats in Garden City, MO and previously for 24 yrs had been a butcher/meat department manager for Happy Foods. Tom was an avid Football fan and LOVED his KC Chiefs. He also loved Marvel and D.C Comics, he passed that love to his 2 sons. They were the light of his life and he was proud to be their father.

Tom was united in marriage to Tammy Rayburn in Sept 2021. They shared a home together in Grandview with their cats. 

Tom is survived by his wife of the home, Tammy Patterson: children from a previous marriage; Nate (Zoe) Patterson, Garden City, MO: Liam Patterson, Harrisonville MO; his parents: Thomas Patterson, Sr and Mary, Belton MO; siblings: Gary(Jessica) Patterson, Harrisonville MO; James (Kat) Patterson, Grandview MO; Nina (Kirk) Hinson, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Celebration of Life will be held Sunday Sept 8, 2024 at 4pm, New Covenant Church, Garden City, MO. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. 

Memorial contributions may be left to the Thomas Patterson memorial fund at time of service.
