Threatha Drew

On July 31, 1934 in Eudora, Arkansas, Daisy Washington and Shellie Smith were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Treatha Drew.

Treatha attended Eudora Arkansas school system , and was a member of Bloomy Shade Baptist Church for many years. She moved her family to Kansas City, Missouri in 1979 for a better life. She was known as one of the most loving and kindest people you would ever want to meet.

Treatha loved her family and during her spare time she loved reading her bible, listening to gospel music, shopping, eating out at restaurants, watching classic movies and soap operas.

Treatha departed this life on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by Roosevelt Thompson Sr., Husband, Frank Drew, and Father, Shellie Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Alice Thompson-Strother (Tony), Patsy Thompson, Mary Drew-Blackwell, Joyce Drew, Pearline-Holloway and Son, Stanley Drew, all of Kansas City, Missouri; Vera Drew od Chicago Illinois, Sharon, Jason of Houston, Texas; one sister Mary Carson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Golden Gate located at 2800 East 18th Street Kansas City, Missouri 64127.
