With Heavy hearts we announce Tracie MaShelle Emmerich, 49, beloved daughter, granddaughter, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend was carried home July 4, 2024, in the comfort of her home located in independence Mo.
Tracie was born to Cathy Carr in Clanton Alabama on September 14, 1974, she came into this world just a few minutes after her identical twin sister Stacie Emmerich. She had two younger brothers Timothy Emmerich and James Carr. She along with her siblings moved to Mis-souri to be closer to family. Tracie had four children her oldest Coen Alexander Carr followed by Christian Andrew Carr, Caylin Marie Carr her only girl, and Cameron Marcos Carr.
Tracie loved the holidays; Halloween being her absolute favorite. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She took a person-al pleasure in reading, watching true crime shows, and jamming out to all genres of music. She had a laugh that was contagious, she loved making others laugh. She was an incredibly intelligent person who would always lend a listening ear and words of advice.
Tracie was a beloved grandmother of four grand babies, Penelope Ma-rie Carr, Cassius Alexander Carr, Valencia Kathryn Marie Carr, and Ezra Key Carr whom she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her grandma Laura Brooks, grandpa Lonnie Emmerich, Uncle Randy Emmerich, and her mother, Cathy Carr whom she now joins in heaven.
Tracie leaves behind her grandma Velda Emmerich, her twin Stacie Emmerich (Michael), her brothers, Timothy Emmerich (Patricia) and James Carr (Nicole). Her Children, Coen Carr (Vikki), Christian Carr (Autumn), Caylin Carr, and Cameron Carr. As well as grandchildren Penelope Carr, Cassius Carr, Valencia Carr and Ezra Carr and numer-ous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The pain of her absence is felt by all for she was a light in our lives, extinguished far too soon. The depths of our sorrow is immeasurable, and we hope she knew just how profoundly she was loved.
