We lost Valerie Alsup much too soon, August 26th 2023. She was one of the most caring and compassionate people anyone could ever meet. She also had an outgoing personality, a great sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that could light up a room. Her lighthearted and accepting nature was a breath of fresh air, and she will be greatly missed.
Valerie was born on February 28, 1997, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She had a happy childhood growing up in Overland Park. Valerie attended Indian Horizons High School in Overland Park, where she met some of her best friends (Megan, Adrianna, and Alair) who were with her for the rest of her life.
As an adult, Valerie maintained a career in the insurance industry. Her various jobs and adventures in adulthood, along with her approachable personality, allowed her to make more lasting friendships during these years. With all of her successes as an adult, she was the proudest of her beautiful daughter Valaniya Robinson 2012. Valerie was a loving mother who cared very deeply for Valaniya and cherished the time she got to spend with her. Valaniya was her life.
Valerie is survived by her daughter Valaniya, her parents Anthony and Donna Pantoja, her brothers Thomas Nathan Childers and Thomas Alsup and sister Jessica Pantoja, Mema Joyce Childers and Aunt Crystel Cranor her chosen family parents Scott and Rhonda Webb, brothers Brad, B, and Ben and 1 sister Brittany, and many friends, family, and loved ones.
Memorial Service will be on September 30th from 1 to 4 at VFW Post 370 in Lenexa Kansas.
