Venice Alfred White

Venice A. White, a vibrant soul who lived life on his own terms, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, just one-week shy of his 66th birthday. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 28, 1959, to Ralph and Arlue White, Venice possessed a truly independent spirit. He embarked on a career path that allowed him to express his individuality, finding success in the automotive industry with Ford.

"Van Go," as he was affectionately known, will be deeply missed by those who cared for him. In his final days, he was surrounded by the love of his family and friends, providing an opportunity for final goodbyes. He will forever be remembered for his love of music, old school comedy, detailing cars, skating, slick back hair, cologne and being a member of the 40 Ounce Club.

Venice was preceded in death by his father, mother and three brothers: Ralph, Ralphord, and Oliver Dean. He leaves behind a cherished legacy, including his daughter, Monica M. White of New Orleans, Louisiana; three sisters: Jannifer White, Carol Blanton, and Debra Higgs, all of Kansas City, Missouri; three nephews: Delon, Jamar, and Thomas; five nieces: Akeea, Santesha, DeJana, Tametra, and Tia; and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. He will also be profoundly missed by a wide circle of relatives and close friends.
