Victorina Kuza Monewa was born January 1, 1946 in Kibati Uvira DRC Congo. She was the fourth of five children.

Victorina grew up in Congo and married Joseph Chomachoma. Together they raised three daughters and four sons, all are alive today;Wilson Gafurero, Maria Kashona,Valerian Tulia, Thadee Bagalwa, Zita Chomachoma, Joseph Bakunda and Pascal Kulumba; and twenty-four grandchildren.

Throughout her life, she loved the Lord and was dedicated to her church. She loved to do church chores, like sweeping, mopping, and cleaning the pews. She also enjoyed going to the farm. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church while in Africa, and changed her faith and became a member of New Horizon Baptist Church. She a faithful     member after arriving to this country and remained until her death. 

She was a God fearing woman, someone who loved people without discrimination. A peace keeping mother who wanted her children to love each other and love others, so that they can live a peaceful life.

Mother Victorina transitioned to Glory on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. Many were blessed to have known her, and she will be greatly missed by  everyone she touched.
