Wayne Keith Steward III

Wayne Keith Steward III departed this life on August 8, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the youthful age of 23. Born on October 3, 2000, in Kansas City, Missouri, he was the cherished son of Beverlee Kitchen, Larry L.V. Thibeaux-Norman, and Wayne K. Steward Jr.

Wayne was educated in the Kansas City School District and graduated from Center High School in May of 2020. He worked various jobs in the pursuit of finding a career that was suitable for him.

Wayne enjoyed listening to music, playing basketball, and video games. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Known for his kind heart, joyous laughter, and playful spirit, Wayne left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father’s Larry L.V. Thibeaux-Norman and Wayne K. Steward Jr., Uncle Perry B. Smith, Grandmother Constance Norman, Aunt Alida M. Porter, and Sister LaQuora Tivis-Norman.

He leaves behind a loving family: his Mother, Beverlee Kitchen; Siblings, Martice Steward, Larenz Norman, Champagne Washington, and Shylah Johnson; Grandparents Perry Smith Jr. (Linda McGinnie), Vicki Lenard, Wayne K. Steward Sr., and Micheal Thibeaux Sr.; Uncles Marcus P. McGinnie Sr., LaRon T. McGinnie Sr.; Aunts Camerine L. McGinnie, Lela Kitchen, LaKingya Taylor-Norman, Shereese Smith, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of other family and friends. A special thanks to Keith Guthrie Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 29, 2024, visitation will be from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with service beginning at 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., Kansas City, Missouri 64127.
