William Tyde Chambers

William Tyde Chambers 67, passed away on August 3, 2024, in Kansas City MO. He was born on July 15, 1957, in Kansas City MO to William and Jerrie Chambers. Tyde grew up in Kansas City MO and graduated from The Paseo High School class of 1975. 

After high school, he went into the workforce working various jobs including Kansas City Parks and Recs Department in the field, and the Kansas City Star as a salesperson. Tyde as people knew him was a die-hard Boston Celtic Fan and was excited to see them win their 18th Championship this past season. 

He is survived by his mother and father William and Jerrie Chambers of Raytown MO, His only sister Gina Chambers of Kansas City, MO, his lovely wife Rosetta Jones of Kansas City MO, his children Ebony(Brian) Tolbert of Independence MO, Porsche(Alan) Winston of Temecula, CA, Gabrielle Chambers of St. Louis MO, Ulan Trudell of Lincoln NE, Donny and Jennifer Jones of Raytown, MO. His only nephew Lorenzo (Reagan) Dixon of Blue Springs, MO. 13 grandchildren Alexis Tolbert of Houston, TX; Leland and Briana Tolbert of Independence, MO; Lyla and Jonathan Winston of Temecula, CA; Nova and Luna(Sol) Trudell of Lincoln, NE; Zoe, Kiah, Maurice, Treveon, and Rayshawn of Raytown, Mo.

Services for Mr. Chambers will be held on August 19, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services in Kansas City, MO visitation will be from  2 pm - 3 pm with services starting promptly at 3 pm.
