William Johnigan Jr.

William Johnigan Jr. was born on November 12, 1949, in Kansas City, KS to William and Mildred Johnigan.

William was educated in the KCMO School District. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for years at Haven Steel. He met and married Glenda later in the years, they were still happy and married at the time of his death. William also called (Pistol), enjoyed playing chess and dominos. He loved to fish; fishing was his thing. He gave his life to Christ in 2011. He joined Christ Disciples Evangelistic Ministries under Dr. Arlenda Viegar.

William (Pistol) departed his life on Saturday, October 12, 2024. His father, grandparents, two brothers, one granddaughter and four aunts preceded him in death. William (Pistol) leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Glenda, his mother Mildred McDaniel, his three children Shan Frazier (John), Sherry McHenry and William Johnigan III, Sisters, Elaine Buford, Debbi Anderson (Claude), Terri Allison (Aaron), Brother; Stephen Partner (Stephanie), Donna, MaryAnn, Gloria, Sharon. Five stepchildren; Brenda Williams (James), Glenda Hamilton (Ray), Allen Evans, Stanley Evans, Ivory Frazier. 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends and special siblings/friends Bernard and Wilma Davis, Michael Wright, and Ed Mull.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday  October 22, 2024 services begin at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th St., Kansas City, Mo 64127.
