William Franklin Riley Jr, 66, of Lenexa, KS, passed away peacefully on January 12th surrounded by family.
Frank was born in Knoxville, TN on March 27th, 1956. He spent much of his childhood in Metuchen, NJ before moving to Shawnee, KS. He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1974 and attended Kansas State University, earning a B.S. in Industrial Engineering Technology in 1978. Frank also obtained his MBA from Webster University in 1992. Before retirement, he was a Software Engineer at Sprint Nextel.
Frank was an avid K-State fan and enjoyed repairing cars and tractors in his free time. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and attending car shows with the local Chevelle club.
Frank was preceded in death by his his parents, William F. Riley and Mary E. Riley. He is survived by his brother, Jay Riley (Kerin), and his children, Patrick Riley and Eric Riley (Sarah).
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
