William Edward Summers

William Edward Summers, known affectionally as Bill, passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 63, in Lee's Summit, MO. Born on June 20, 1961, Bill was a beacon of kindness and energy, radiating a love for life that was contagious to all who knew him.

 Bill is remembered for his deep, unwavering passion for the Kansas City Chiefs. His enthusiasm for the team was infectious, and he remained a devoted fan through all their ups and downs. 

He leaves behind his wife, Diana, and their children, Elizabeth, Chris, Julia, and Crystal, along with his cherished grandchildren, Chance, Montana, Chloe, Tate, LaNiah, Camdon, Alivia, and Avery. Bill is also survived by his siblings, Pam, Patrice, Paige, and Ora Lee, and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Paula, and his parents, Doyle, Myrtle, and stepmother Ruthie.

Bill's absence will be profoundly felt by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and spirited enthusiasm will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. 

A celebration of Bill's life will be held with details to follow, during which donations can be made in lieu of flowers.
