Willie Lonnell Anderson Jr.

Willie L. “Bobo” Anderson Jr., Willie “Bobo” Anderson was born on September 1, 1976 to Muriel and Willie “Bo” Anderson. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri where he attended Blenheim Elementary School, Bingham Middle School and graduated from Southeast High School in 1996. He attended some courses at Concord Career College.

Willie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and joined Miracle Temple Christian Center Church, under the leadership of his Pastor, Dr. Melvina Ruffin. He was a member of the choir and played the drums.

Willie married the love of his life, LaTisha Davis-Anderson on August 30, 2003. They were blessed with four handsome young men together. Later in life he was blessed with his princess, Amira Abernathy.

Willie was also one of the first drummers of the Pythons Drill Team under the direction of Wanda Winters. He loved playing music as much as he loved working with the kids. Willie was an avid sports fan!!! He loved his Kansas City Chiefs and he loved the Kansas City Royals. He was also a fan of the KU Jayhawks and would playfully tease his older sister who is a  Mizzou alumni.

Willie Jr., transitioned to glory on Sunday, January 22, 2023. His  father, Willie “Bo” Anderson Sr., preceded him in death.

Willie leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories, his wife, Latisha Davis-Anderson; four sons, Jeremiah Anderson, Isiaih Anderson, Willie Anderson III and Elijah Anderson; one daughter, Amira Abernathy; mother, Muriel Anderson; four brothers, Michael McCloud, Walter McCloud (LeShonda), Richard Anderson, and Randy Anderson (Joy); two sisters, Tamyra Goode (Lemont), and Monica Dixon (Waymon);  twelve nephews; eight nieces; a host of uncles, aunts, grandnephews, grandnieces, other relatives, and friends.
