Wilma Patricia Goodseal

Wilma Patricia Thompson Goodseal, 78, was born on August 23, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, the eldest of eight children born to Alfred and Elvira Roberts.

The family relocated to Kansas City, Missouri where she attended and graduated from Manual High School.

Wilma was known to her family as “Tricia”, but her friends called her “Pat” and a few of her children and grandchildren called her “Mommy”.  Tricia worked various housekeeping jobs and volunteered at local churches. She enjoyed cooking (everything spicy). She made lots of friends throughout her lifetime and loved being with them all; Old and new.

Wilma passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at    Belton Regional Hospital in Belton, Missouri. She was preceded in death by both parents, Alfred Roberts, and Elvira Shelton; stepdad, Charles Shelton; three sisters, Jackie Belcher (Yero), Barbara Roberts, and Sylvia Merritt, and one daughter, Ramona Goodseal.

She leaves to cherish her memory seven children, Roland, Debbie, Brian, Jackie, Alfred, Akhtar, and Naomi; four brothers, Alfred (Jewel), Keith (Gloria), Wesley (Gale), and youngest brother, Clifton which whom she shared birthdays, and a host of grand-children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
