Yvette Dormet Berger

Yvette Berger was born July 13, 1965, in Kansas City, Kansas to Nadine Virgina Berger and James Henry Fugate.

Yvette was educated at Schlage High school where she received her Diploma. Yvette worked at McDonalds and did cleaning and painting for her loved ones. Yvette was blessed with two children, Richard Berger and Gharsha (Wuga) Cannon.

Yvette enjoyed spending time with her family. Yvette enjoyed listening to a variety of music. Yvette loved to eat, especially Greens and Cornbread. It was her favorite. She would hide a plate to go before she would eat then make another plate, ending up with three plates. She loves dancing at any time no matter where she is. She loved making people laugh. She enjoyed going to church. She loved wearing sunglasses; she had every color for every outfit. She would ask for your glasses if she likes them.

Yvette departed this life on August 24, 2024. Her Mother Nadine Virgina Berge; Father James Fugate; Brothers, Bryan Keith, Clarence Robert Berger, and Ricky Fugate, preceded her in death.

Yvette leaves to cherish her memory, her son Richard Berger; daughter Gharsha Cannon(Wuga); Stepmother MaryAnn Fugate; Siblings Lezlie V. Berger, Dustin Berger, James Fugate (Sherry Fugate), Darryl Beechum, Shawn Fugate, Brenda Morgan(Melvin Morgan),Sheila Fugate, Pamela Fugate, and Sherita Fugate(Shonna Fugate); Niece and Nephews- Candici Berger, Robert Vine, Nicole Shirley-Freeman, Mecole Shirley, Clarence Berger, Terence Berger, Jermey Berger, Lensha Berger, Ikeim Berger, Ikea Berger, Taleah Berger,-Reeves, Micah Emery, Marcus Nevils, Nakyla Berger; Grandchildren- Gharon Parks-el ,Keron Parks-el, Ja'cion Cannon, Destinee Berger, Richard Berger, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday September 12, 2024, visitation 2 P.M. - 3 P.M. with the services beginning at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services,LLC 2800 East 18th st., Kansas City, Missouri 64127.
